A 51 year old female having complaints of dysphagia ( difficulty in swallowing) for 2 months. On evaluation, she was found to have carcinoma Esophagus ( food pipe cancer). During laparoscopic surgery, we noticed that the tumor has spread to various organs which was not detected on ct scan or pet scan. The surgery was abandoned as the tumor could not be removed completely and the patient is planned for chemotherapy.
Don't ignore the symptoms like difficulty in swallowing, bleeding per rectum, weight loss, loss of appetite as these can be the symptoms of cancer. Consult your doctor
